Eligibility Requirements Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered eligible:

Be 18 years of age or older - * Note: Culinary Program – 16 years of age or older

Be legally eligible to work in the United States

Possess a high school diploma or GED

Reside in an eligible county:

Bastrop County residents may qualify under the St. David’s ECO Grant
-
Residents of Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette or Lee Counties may qualify under other funding source

Enrollment in skill-building programs helps fulfill work search requirements, and employers will interview based on the specific skills they need, so being unemployed or on benefits does not prohibit you from applying.
